ON Semiconductor's MC100EPT622, a 3,3 V 10-bit translator for the conversion of transistor transistor logic (TTL) or low voltage complementary metal oxide semiconductor (LVCMOS) signals to low voltage positive emitter coupled logic (LVPECL), has low channel-to-channel skew and low propagation delay. The device is ideal for the large-scale conversion of CMOS and TTL signals (commonly produced by processors and microcontrollers) into easily-transmitted LVPECL signals in high-performance test and measurement equipment, imaging systems in medical applications, high-end server designs and backplane transmission applications. LVPECL is ideal for distributing clock- and data signals across noise-sensitive circuitry. It operates above 1,5 GHz with a typical propagation delay of only 500 ps. The device's LVPECL interface provides very high noise immunity and maintains low skew (120 ps typ). Compatible with low-voltage supplies (3,0 V to 3,6 V), it is packaged in 9 x 9 mm, 32-pin LQFP.
