Minibend V is the millimetre wave version of Astrolab's original minibend. It is designed for use in communications systems and fibre-optic switching systems. It operates at frequencies up to 62 GHz and data rates up to 40 GB/sec. There are no dielectric changes in the minibend V assembly. This provides a consistent delay time along the entire length of the cable assembly. The precision, stainless steel 1,85 mm plug connector mates with industry standard 2,4 and 1,85 mm jack connectors.
