The ME housings in 17,5 and 35 mm component widths from Phoenix Contact can now be combined with new bus plugs for DIN rail mounting: The five-pin bus plugs with 3,81 mm pitch are mounted on the DIN rail and plugged together, saving space. The communications or power signals are connected to each other in parallel here. Gold-plated contacts ensure high transmission quality.
Devices are then locked into position in the usual way and automatically contacted. At the same time, the mounting rail bus plug mechanically guides the housing or device. It is possible to simply remove or replace individual modules from the device network without interrupting the signal chain. The deep plug position within the mounting rail provides more mounting room on the PCB while maintaining identical exterior dimensions.
