Shields with enhanced EMC properties are now available for the LPC 6/LPCH 6 lever-actuated PCB connectors from Phoenix Contact. With reliable protection against electromagnetic interference, the range of PCB connector applications is being extended with applications in the field of power electronics, for example, with servo motors or frequency converters.
The shields satisfy the requirements for unrestricted use up to 1000 V (IEC) or 600 V (UL). Direct contact is made with the device housing during the connection process, saving time. This also means that the extra work needed to attach the cable shield is no longer necessary. The shields are particularly suitable for applications in compact devices. They allow various attachment options for the outer and inner shields of hybrid cables.
