Broadwave Technologies’ Model 751-005-080 is a 50 Ω manual variable attenuator that covers the DC-3 GHz frequency range. This device features 80 dB of attenuation in 1 dB steps. The attenuation accuracy is ±0,5 dB (1 dB steps) ±0,7 dB or 4% (10 dB steps) and insertion loss is 1,5 dB maximum. Maximum VSWR (voltage standing wave ratio) is 1,70:1, RF input power is 2 W average and the RF connectors are SMA female.
Manual variable attenuators designed by BroadWave provide an accurate method of varying the level of a signal. Applications include test equipment, telecommunication systems, base stations, radar applications and high-precision applications such as military and defence programmes.
