Solid-state power amplifier for X-band

The SGN-X4-50 from Kratos General Microwave is a solid-state power amplifier (SSPA) that operates in the X-band. It delivers peak saturated output power of 50 W with a gain of 50 dB and has an efficiency of up to 25%. This SSPA utilises the latest GaN technology to provide a low-cost, high-efficiency, high-reliability amplifier that requires a 60 V d.c. supply and consumes less than 268 W of power.

The SGN-X4-50 is available in a connectorised module that measures 114,30 x 111,80 x 19,0 mm and is suitable for radar, data links, communications and test system applications.
