The QPF4526 Wi-Fi 6 front-end module (FEM) from Qorvo comes in a tiny 3 mm x 3 mm form factor to minimise layout area in Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) applications such as Internet of Things (IoT) client devices, wireless routers, customer premises equipment and access points.

Available from local distributor TRX Electronics through its agreement with Mouser Electronics, the device integrates a 5 GHz power amplifier; a single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) switch; and a low-noise amplifier with bypass. The module's power amplifier is optimised for a 5 V supply voltage, conserving power consumption while maintaining the highest linear output power and leading-edge throughput. The high-performance FEM provides a transmit gain of 33 dB and a receive gain of 14,5 dB, with a 1,9 dB noise figure.
