The advantage of using the WLink router in the transport space is that it is not only limited to hotspots – the same router can be used for surveillance cameras in buses or taxis. The cameras can connect via a LAN cable or over Wi-Fi. This is done so that the transport operator can also connect remotely to the cameras for security purposes, in the event of a crime or an accident. Through the utilisation of a WLink router, transport operators can monitor onboard passengers, effortlessly track the real-time status of buses/taxis to ensure the safety of each passenger and improve their overall travelling experience.
