The GRF9461 from Guerrilla RF is an RF gain block that operates from 40 MHz to 2,0 GHz. It provides a gain of 19,8 dB, with a noise figure of 1,8 dB and an output P1dB of 18,80 dBm. This amplifier is based on a GaAs pHEMT process, and it is designed for use in 75 Ω CATV and 50 Ω general-purpose applications.
The GRF9461 requires a DC supply of 3 to 6 V, and consumes 132 mA of current. The chip, which has an operating temperature of -40 to 105°C, is available in a compact surface-mount DFN-8 package that measures only 2,0 x 2,0 mm. It is ideal for cable, terrestrial, satellite, DOCISS, CATV, cable modem, set-top box, and other general-purpose applications.
