PMI-RF has released the new P2T-1G18G-10-R-528-SFF-HIP10W, a single-pole, double-throw reflective switch capable of operating with an input power of up to 10 W CW over the 1,0 to 18,0 GHz frequency range.

This model features high input power handling capability while offering very fast switching speeds of 40 ns. It is compact in size and weight and only consumes 2,5 mA on the +5 V d.c. supply and 2,5 mA of -28 V negative DC supply, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.

The device has a very low insertion loss and a typical isolation of 25 dB. With an operational temperature range of -54°C to +100°C and Mil standard 202F qualification for altitudes of up to 15 000 metres it is very well suited for aviation applications.

Complementing these specifications, the small package size makes it well suited for a wide range of applications including EW, radar and communication systems. The switch also has Mil standard qualifications for shock and vibration.
