The SR05 series of TVS diode arrays from Littelfuse is designed to protect telecommunication and industrial equipment against ESD and lightning-induced surge events. Each channel or I/O pin can safely absorb up to 25 A (tp = 8/20 s) and repeated ESD strikes at ±30 kV without performance degradation.
Extremely low dynamic resistance and clamping voltage levels ensure protection for today’s small geometry chipsets, which are highly susceptible to damage from transients because of their very thin oxide layers and shallow transistor junctions. With just 6 pF of capacitance from each I/O to ground, these devices provide robust protection while maintaining signal integrity, preventing data loss during transmission.
