Small E-paper displays

Raystar has grown its range of AMEPDs (active matrix E-paper display) to include 1,4”, 2,0” and 2,7” models.

They offer a combination of low power consumption, reliability, high contrast and no need for backlighting. Being thin and readable in most conditions, the displays are suitable for not only consumer but also industrial applications, where their inherent image retention can be a decisive advantage.

The displays are built on a TFT substrate onto which e-paper film and a protective sheet are laid. Each dot is driven individually. Popular applications include health and fitness displays, pricing labels, signs, clocks and watches, medical equipment and thermostats.
