MITEQ has added the Model AMF-6D-01002650-50-25P to its family of rugged, single-bias coaxial amplifiers. This device has over 30 dB of gain from 1 to 26,5 GHz, in a housing that is only 25,4 long x 21 mm wide without the field replaceable K-connectors. Gain flatness is a maximum of ±2,5 dB, though typical is ±2 dB.
The amplifier has a maximum noise figure of 5,0 dB across the full band. It operates from -40°C to +75°C base temperature, has a P1dB minimum of 25 dBm, IP3 of typically 32 dBm, and a current draw of maximum 600 mA from a single +15 V d.c. supply.
The device’s composite metal body with a CuW base provides excellent thermal characteristics while the Kovar body allows for hermetic sealing if required. With its built-in sequencing, regulation and protection, only a single positive bias is required. It is also available as RoHS compliant.
