The PTXM range of modular microwave power modules from TMD, suitable for radar, electronic warfare (EW) and communications systems, are pulsed and CW drop-in amplifier blocks whose full integration make installation simple and safe. The microwave tube based design is especially optimised for airborne platforms; in particular for unmanned aerial vehicles where space and weight are at a premium.
The range consists of the PTXM1002, a 4,5 – 18,0 GHz model with 100 W output, weighing 1,7 kg and targeted at EW and communications; the 6,0 – 18,0 GHz PTXM1001 with 140 W output power, suitable for radar, EW and communications at 1,95 kg; and the PTXM1000 for 13,75 – 14,5 GHz communications applications (CW only); providing 110 W output from a 1,7 kg unit. 28 V d.c. and 115 V three-phase options are available in addition to 270 V d.c.
