A new range of fibre-optic interconnects has been introduced by Radiall for high-density requirements in harsh environments.
C-MTitan is designed for ‘inside the box’ applications and features a cartridge that protects an MT ferrule and improves its performance in stringent applications. With 12 or 24 fibres in a very small package, this represents an extremely dense interconnect solution for high-speed data communication.
The system is ideally suited to terminate pigtailed D-Lightsys multichannel transceivers. Radiall is able to provide a complete optical link, including the active components and the harnesses. These include PCB mating adaptors, board connectors (VITA 66.1 type) and multipin connectors.
C-MTitan is able to maintain excellent optical performance in demanding environments and is suitable for applications requiring high count of fibre channel such as radars, IFE (in-flight entertainment), cockpit displays and many more.
