LTE Cat. 4 modules

Quectel showed off its brand new EC21 and EC25 LTE modules at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2016, held in Las Vegas in early January. Leveraging its high-speed connectivity and worldwide LTE, UMTS/HSPA+ and GSM/GPRS/ EDGE coverage, the company attracted many visitors to the booth to learn about the devices.
Qualcomm, with which Quectel has long cooperated, was tapped to power the modules with its Snapdragon X5 LTE modem. With multimode capability and supporting LTE Category 4 download speeds up to 150 Mbps, this modem is designed to be used in a range of mobile broadband applications and in Internet of Things (IoT) use cases that demand high data rates.
