Biometric fingerprint reader module

The GT-521F52 from ADH-tech is a high-performance fingerprint module that can be awakened by a finger touching the metal frame of the sensor. It is a one-chip module designed for integration into products with a UART port. The device is configured as a USB mass Storage device so it needs no additional effort to handle drivers.

The active area allows stable imaging and the ability to cope with mass market applications requiring both security and convenience. The reader within the device has a high performance, low power consumption 32-bit microcontroller based around an ARM Cortex-M3 processor core, on which the fingerprint algorithm is processed.
