'Fortune' magazine names QNX founders 'heroes of manufacturing'

Fortune magazine's March issue highlights QNX Software Systems as part of its 'heroes of manufacturing' series.

The article takes a look at founders Dan Dodge and Gord Bell and their vision to create an operating system that will not fail. Called 'When software really, really has to work,' the article explores how the QNX Neutrino RTOS has earned a reputation for keeping critical equipment running 24 hours a day, without any downtime.

As one customer puts it, "The only way to make this software malfunction is to fire a bullet into the computer running it."
