AMIC Technology has introduced its first single chip CMOS 2,4 GHz RF products to enter the wireless market. The 2,4 GHz products are manufactured on a pure CMOS process to offer low cost, and low power consumption to meet the requirement of a wide range of growing wireless applications. With the A7101 2,4 GHz transceiver together with the A7301 transmitter, AMIC offers a total solution for 2,4 GHz ISM band applications.
The AMIC devices offer the following features:
* The common SPI interface for read and write control, interfaces with any generic microcontroller;
* A built-in voltage regulator allows operation over a wide voltage of 2,2-5 V to meet system level requirements;
* The integrated battery-low indicator and ultra low power consumption of 5 µA makes the devices suitable for portable applications.
Offering two-way communications at a burst rate up to 64 Kbps over short ranges, the transceiver is ideal for wireless data applications such as wireless mouse and keyboard, telemetry, security systems, intelligent agriculture and interactive toys. To simplify design and meet custom design requirements AMIC also offers RF-modules.
For speedy time-to-market AMIC offer a total support solution by offering evaluation kits which include utility software and application notes.
