Control enclosure for building automation

Bopla's Bovista enclosure system is designed especially for use in building automation systems. However, the wide range of ways of combining lids and bases ensures that this plastic enclosure can also be used in many other fields of electronics.

Bovista is available in the basic sizes: 200 x 120 x 36 mm, and 270 x 162 x 50 mm. Depending on individual requirements, the user can choose between an enclosure base with or without ventilation. In each case, eight different lids, in various sizes and shapes, can be supplied to fit the bases. In addition to a smooth design, the customer can choose between lids with a membrane keypad area, a design front or a hinged lid. Fitting the lids only involves snapping them onto the base.

The design allows for horizontal or vertical fitting. The enclosure can be fitted to the wall by means of the integrated keyholes in the base, or by the snap-on wall-fitting plate, which is available as an accessory. In addition, this plate has two cut-outs so that the enclosure can be used in combination with flush-mounted sockets.

All enclosure parts can be adapted to meet customers' individual needs. Bopla's services include the printing of the surfaces, mechanical processing (eg, for display cut-outs) and the design, manufacturing and fitting of membrane keypads.
