Clare's PLA192 OptoMOS solid-state relay (SSR) is capable of blocking voltages up to 600 V, has current handling capability of 150 mA and offers a low on-resistance of 22 Ω. The PLA192 is offered in both a 6-pin DIP and a 6-pin surface mount package. With an appealing combination of voltage, current and on resistance, Clare's many years of experience in multichip packaging and proprietary leadframe design helped it to achieve a 5000 V input/output isolation.
Due to its unique combination of voltage and current ratings, the PLA192 is ideal for industrial and medical applications. Three-phase electric metering, data acquisition, multiplexers, I/O subsystems and medical equipment with enhanced patient/equipment isolation are some of the many applications for the PLA192.
