Secure gateway reference design

Marvell has introduced broad software support on its new SOHO secure gateway reference design, shortening networking equipment manufacturers' development cycles. The Link Street 88E6318 reference design offers software support for multiple operating systems, including Windows CE .NET, Monta Vista Linux and Wind River VxWorks.

The Link Street 88E6318 reference design incorporates the company's 88E6318 secure gateway router chip, supporting circuitry with two mini PCI interfaces for Marvell 802.11 wireless and SATA based storage connectivity, a JTAG in-circuit emulator interface and five switched Fast Ethernet ports.

With a wide array of software platforms, networking equipment manufacturers have the flexibility in choosing the software support that best matches their software expertise. The reference design includes the application programming interface and performance reports, drivers for various peripherals, detailed documentation and user guides.
