Newly-designed round rocker switches

13 August 2003 Switches, Relays & Keypads

The CR series of panel mount rocker switches from ITT Industries, Cannon features a unique round actuator and body, ideally suited for small and large appliances, office equipment, computers, peripherals and other applications.

A standard feature in each of the panel mount rocker series switches, is the wide choice of actuator styles. Round CR units, for example, are available with circular, oval or paddle style actuators in two-tone black, white and red opaque color combinations or illuminated in white, red, amber and green colors. Electrical functionality is SPDT/On-On or SPST On-Off.

CR series rockers fit a 20,2 mm diameter panel cut-out with a behind panel depth of 22,6 mm. They feature a maximum current rating of 16 A at 125 V a.c., 10 A at 250 V a.c. and a VDE rating of 10 A at 125 V a.c. and 6 A at 250 V a.c. Electrical life is 10 000 make and break cycles at full load.

Cannon's new extended family of additional panel mount rocker switches also includes miniature rectangular styles, single and double power devices, and speciality products. The company offers a wide variety of switches, including toggle, tactile, key, navigation, pushbutton, slide, DIP, snap, switchlock and rotary.
