Amphenol offers a range of antennas to meet the growing demand of the GSM, GPS, Bluetooth and WiFi markets. The standard GSM range of stubbies, retractables, whip, short whip and low profile antennas are available for GSM, DCS, AMPS and ETACS applications. In addition, Amphenol has the capability to custom-design antennas. Internal tri-band GSM antennas have been developed for all four of the major cellphone manufacturers.
Blue 2.4 is the latest product offering. This is an internal antenna specifically manufactured for Blue Tooth and IEEE802.11b (WiFi) applications. This off-the-shelf product takes advantage of non-ceramic low cost technology and measures only 13 x 7,4 x 3,2 mm.
GPS/GSM combination antennas are also available in a compact easy-to-mount housing. An amplified 27 dB gain is achieved on the GPS side, while the dual band GSM has a peak gain of 2 dBic min. With integrated 3 m fly-lead, any combination of RF connector is available. Standalone GPS antennas are also available.
