New antennas for the wireless LAN market

Grintek Antennas, has developed a low cost 18 dBi flat panel antenna specifically for the 5,8 GHz WLAN market. The antenna is protected by a UV-stable light grey radome and is supplied with an integrated pole mount bracket. The antenna has outer dimensions of 225 by 235 mm and is 20 mm high (excluding bracket). This antenna is ideal for short to medium range WLAN links. 5,8 GHz equipment is particularly in demand for networks requiring higher throughput, or for networks to be deployed in frequency-congested areas.
