Products & Solutions
A 14-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that offers simultaneous sampling of four fully differential channels, the MAX1338, has channel-independent, software-programmable input ranges of ±0 V, ±5 V, ±2,5 V, and ±1,25 V that need no external matched resistor networks, switches, or precision buffers. The manufacturer, Maxim, says that its excellent DC (±2 LSB INL and ±1 LSB DNL) and AC (75 dB SNR, 75 dB SINAD) performance surpasses its previous generation of simultaneous-sampling ADCs. The device features a 5 MHz parallel interface, internal 2,5 V reference, and internal conversion clock. This device samples at 150 ksps per channel and operates on a 5 V supply. A separate 2,7 V to 5,25 V supply powers the parallel digital interface for flexible I/O levels.
