The PCL-818HD from ProMicro is a high-performance multifunction card with a guaranteed 100 kHz sampling and transfer speed at all gains and input ranges. It features an onboard 1K sample FIFO buffer for faster data transfer and more predictable performance under Windows. Conversion time is 8 µs and it has a DB-37 A/D, D/A connector.
The PCL-818HG offers the same functions as the PCL-818HD, but in addition, has a special high gain programmable instrument amplifier for reading very low level input signals. This package includes a special wiring board with a DB-37 connector and CJC. The combination allows the measurement of low level thermocouple signals without an external signal conditioning board.
