The RF2705 is a high-performance modulator that supports the world's major wireless standards-CDMA, WCDMA, TDMA, GSM and EDGE. This RF Micro Devices device is a multi-mode quad-band quadrature modulator with integrated variable gain PA drivers for handset or base station applications. Out-of-band noise density is as low as -156 dBm/Hz, and carrier and sideband suppression is 35 dBc. The RF2705 contains quadrature generation, matched double-balanced mixers, summing amplifiers and RF outputs. The device also includes variable gain control, low noise, integrated variable gain PA drivers and independent high- and low-band oscillator inputs and RF outputs. Frequency doublers, dividers and LO buffers are also included to support a variety of LO generation options.
