Tired of reading datasheets, application notes or other long documents to help you design in an RF transceiver, receiver, transmitter or module into your application? Look no further, because RF Monolithics claims to have a solution.
RF Monolithics is offering at no cost, a new and improved, illustrative Short Range Radio RF Circuit Design Assistant Tool software that is said to be time-saving and easy to use: The 'ASH Design Assistant Version 2' is a follow-on to its predecessor, the ASH Design Assistant software, that was very well received by the engineering community that uses RFM's Virtual Wire products.
Dan Nelson, RFM's European field applications engineer, who has extensive knowledge of RFM's products and has helped various customers with their design applications, developed the Design Assistant Tool. The tool can be downloaded free of charge from RFM's website at www.rfm.com/products/vwire.htm
Version 2 includes a revisit of the ASH Transceiver Designer's Guide (the ASH hardware designer's technical document) and it translates design formulas, practices, and procedures of the ASH Virtual Wire circuits into an easy to use, interactive design/development tool.
