New industrial PC enclosures for the future BTX standard

The BTX (balanced technology extended) specification is based on standards that enable more efficient development of future industrial computing systems. Flexibility, scalability, improved cooling for high performance CPUs, low noise levels, an optimum motherboard design as well as generally improved construction and price advantages are among the specifications for this successor to the ATX standard.

Rittal now offers new industrial PC enclosure systems for the BTX technology, a technology designed for the future. The 2U versions are available in zinc-plated and painted sheet steel, including the BTX power supply unit, and are prepared for the installation of a motherboard and FDDs, HDDs and CD-ROM drives.
