Advantech's FPM-3171G is a new industrial-grade, and economical 17" flat panel TFT LCD monitor. The monitor comes with an anti-reflective screen with tempered glass, and has hard anodic coating to prevent the panel from abrasion and acid corrosion. Models with resistive touch screen by RS232 or USB interface are also available.
Unlike the earlier FPM-3170G, which was equipped with DVI-D, Video and S-Video ports, the new FPM-3171G has been made more economical by only offering the most common VGA port. FPM-3171G does however take advantage of LCD technology improvements to offer better luminance (300 cd/m²) and better contrast ratio (500:1). Its operating temperature is 0-50°C.
The FPM-3171G is equipped with industrial-grade features such as a NEMA4/IP65 compliant front bezel, which protects the screen against dust and low pressure jets, and has a robust stainless steel chassis. It supports diverse mounting options such as: panel, wall, rack, desktop mount, and VESA arm, and comes with a standard 19" rack-mount bezel and has a desktop stand for freestanding applications.
