NET+Works is a royalty-free and complete development environment for Ethernet/Internet enabling embedded devices. It is specifically optimised for the NetSilicon family of 32-bit NET+ARM processors and Digi Connect/ConnectCore 9C modules.
NET+Works includes development tools, JTAG or software debugger, a development board, a royalty-free realtime operating system (RTOS), and networking software in an easy-to-use, integrated solution.
The development system helps reduce design risk and speeds time-to-market, says the manufacturer. It allows developers to: start with the sample application programs provided; create their custom software application with the built-in APIs and integrated development tools; evaluate their application's performance on the development board; design their target hardware using the development board as a reference.
NET+Works 6.3 also helps keep designers current with evolving networking technologies. Development tools included are either: Green Hills Multi IDE or Microcross GNU X-Tools. Run-time software includes: Source code drivers; ThreadX RTOS; TCP/IP stack and networking applications.
