8-channel high voltage analog switches

The HV2201 and HV2301 are two new low-charge injection, 8-channel, high voltage analog switch ICs from Supertex. These ICs feature robust latch-up protection and a very low quiescent current of 10 μA, resulting in better operating efficiency in applications that require HV analog switching, controlled by low voltage signals, such as medical ultrasound imaging, non-destructive metal-flaw detection, and other piezoelectric transducer driving. Additionally, the HV2301 features integrated bleed resistors that not only minimise noise but also reduce PCB space requirements. They also include 22 Ω switch resistance that minimises return signal attenuation, serial shift register control to reduce I/O connections, and up to 200 V operating voltage for higher transmit voltages. The devices combine HV bilateral DMOS switches and low power CMOS logic. The ICs are available in 28 pin PLCC, 32 pin BCC, and 48 pin TQFP packages.
