The POC-3174 is a powerful Pentium M Industrial Medical PC from IEI, with an industrial standard resistive touch-screen.
One of the leading Panel PCs for healthcare and many other similar environments, the POC-3174 with Pentium M Support and 400 FSB is an ideal solution where fanless operation, low noise and low power consumption are required without any loss of performance.
The front panel meets IP-65/NEMA compliancy and it comes complete with a 17" TFT LCD screen (running up to 1280 x 1024 resolution) that connects with a two-channel LVDS connector. There is also enough space to fit two 2,5" HDD and a slim type CD-ROM drive. Speakers are included and memory (DDR 266 or 333) can be fitted up to 2 GB. Available I/O ports are: three x COM, one x VGA, one Parallel, two x USB 2.0, DVI, PS/2-KB/MS, Dual LAN, three x Audio.
Some of the more impressive specs for this machine are the single CF II connection (accessible from the outside of the unit) and in addition to standard Ethernet, also Gigabit Ethernet. Expansion for the 1x PCI slot is a plus, while the PCMCIA slot opens up other applications: GPRS cards, CDMA modules, data storage cards and wireless LAN can all be added through this slot for extra benefits.
