Industrial converter offers long distance transmissions

Advantech's ADAM-6521S is an industrial converter with one single mode fibre port for long distance transmissions up to 15 km. The device also works as a switch with its four industrial-grade 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports.

Like other modules in the ADAM series, ADAM-6521S can be mounted by DIN rail, wall/panel or piggyback stacking. ADAM-6521S supports a wide voltage range of 10 to 30 V d.c. over the terminal block, and the operating temperature ranges from -10 to 65°C. ADAM-6521S supports up to 3000 V d.c. surge protection and 4000 ESD protection for the Ethernet ports making it reliable in harsh operating environments.

With fibre-optic transmission, noise is prevented from interfering with the system. ADAM-6521S is suitable for applications in warehouses, large factories and environmental monitoring stations.
