Advantech's recently-launched UNO-2053E is the first UNO fanless box PC with embedded Audio functions. This X86 platform has a GX533-400 MHz CPU, with 256 MB DDRRAM, and rich peripherals including two x LAN, two x USB ports, two x Serial ports, PCMCIA and Audio. Moreover, this new series from Advantech retains the classic UNO features, with its fanless design and compact size, providing user-friendly functionality and high reliability.
Although this box PC comes with Windows 2000/XP drivers, Advantech also provides the WinCE 5.0 SDK and Linux drivers, so users can develop their own customised industrial-grade OS.
With the UNO-2053E, an application-ready platform is provided that, with its compact size, can be installed in space-limited environments. With its superior heat-dissipation, it can be operated under high temperatures (up to 55°C), without the need for a fan, making it well-suited for industrial-grade applications.
