Advantech's PPC-158T panel PC is ideal for use in environments that require a high level of cleanliness. The PPC-158T is equipped with a stainless steel front bezel as standard. This makes it suitable for chemical plants, pharmaceutical plants, petrochemical plants, kitchens in restaurants, and many other environments.
Speakers and OSD functions are also available as standard, but can be optionally removed. A choice of resistive and capacitive touchscreens is available, as well as flexible mounting methods such as panel, wall, swing arm, and desktop stand accessories.
Customer logos and colouring can also be applied to the PPC-158T, and OEM/ODM customers may request minor changes such as different peripheral device configurations for new projects, says Advantech. Whole panel PC waterproofing is a prime consideration when operating in harsh environments, and the PPC-158T can be installed into a different chassis or enclosure to ensure protection.
