RS232 to RS495422 serial converter for radio modem

Satel's RS-LINK 100 is a cost-effective serial converter that can be configured to operate in compliance with RS485 or RS422. This galvanically-isolated and surge suppression protected converter allows information exchange in full-duplex RS422 or half-duplex RS485 mode.

The RS485 or RS422 settings are easily selected by the DIP-switches. It is also possible to terminate the lines. With the help of six LED indicators, monitoring the system data transfer is easily visualised at a glance.

For service purposes the radio modem can be set to the programming mode, or it can be turned off as needed. As the RS-LINK 100 has beeen designed for the Satelline-1870 radio modem, there is no need for any cables or extra connectors. RS232 signals can be connected directly to the screw connectors of the unit.
