Low power LVDS drivers for high speed data

austriamicrosystems has expanded its low-voltage differential signalling (LVDS) ICs portfolio with new single and dual LVDS drivers. Ideal for applications requiring high-speed data transmission, such as digital copiers, laser printers, cellphone base-stations, telecom switches, and network switches/routers, the AS1154/56 LVDSs consume just 2 mA at data rates up to 800 Mbps. The AS1154 converts two low-voltage LVTTL/LVCMOS signals into LVDS output signals conforming to the ANSI TIA/EIA-644 LVDS standard while the AS1156 does the same, but with a single signal. Designed with flow-through pin-out, the drivers reduce crosstalk between channels and simplify PC board layout. With extremely low pulse skew of only 300 ps, they are ideal for high-resolution imaging and high-speed interconnection applications. Guaranteed to work over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, these drivers operate from a single +3,0 V to +3,6 V supply, and are available in an 8-pin SOIC package.
