Supertex has introduced two new high voltage, 16-channel analog switches in the HV2631 and HV2731.
The outputs of both ICs are configured as two sets of eight single-pole, single-throw analog switches that feature low typical on-resistance of 22 Ω. This low switch resistance minimises signal attenuation in the receive mode and provides 2 A current capability in the transmit mode. They can be used with multiple combinations of high voltage supplies to accommodate different operating modes in diagnostic medical ultrasound imaging. The HV2731 also features integrated bleed resistors to discharge residual DC voltages and reduce erroneous signals.
Both devices are available in 48-lead LQFP and are Green and RoHS compliant.
