Aaeon has introduced a new fanless industrial PC (IPC) controller aimed at markets such as machine automation, factory automation, test and measurement, and medical.
The AEC-6915 adopts the Intel Pentium M/Celeron M Processors, which support up to 2 GHz, while the system memory supports DDRII SODIMM up to 1 GB. In addition, this model accommodates four COM ports, four USB2.0 ports, one DVD-ROM slot, one 2.5SATA/IDE hard disk drive and one LAN port for network connection. All functional I/O interfaces are on the same side and users can connect the necessary devices through the front panel.
This IPC is suitable to wall mount or cabinet mount in a control panel and can replace the traditional 4U Rack IPC or shoe-box IPC chassis.
