Aaeon has released an economic half-size single board computer (SBC) – the HSB-800I – which is designed to target the industrial control and automation market.
The SBC is based on the AMD LX800 processor, which features low power consumption and fast heat spreading to ensure end-product performance. The HSB-800I supports onboard DDR400 system memory up to 128 MB with an AMDLX800 +CS5536 chipset.
For the display function, the VGA controller is integrated to the LX800 processor that supports CRT and LVDS simultaneous display. Moreover, the SBC supports LVDS/TTL LCD up to 24-bit with a 2D/3D graphics accelerator integrated to enhance graphic performance. The HSB-800I features four COM ports, four USB2.0 ports, one standard floppy disk drive port, one Mini-DIN PS/2 Keyboard and mouse connector.
