The IPPC-6172A from Advantech is an industrial panel PC with front USB access, supporting Pentium M/Celeron M processor up to 2 GHz and DDR2 memory bus up to 2 GB, together with a slim CD-ROM drive and two expansion PCI slots. The flat-sealed front panel is designed for easy cleaning and liquid run-off. The control box incorporates a gull-wing design for easy component installation and maintenance.
The PC has a 17-inch TXT LCD supporting SXGA resolutions up to 1280 x 1024, and is provided with an optional analog resistive touch screen with RS232 interface. Power is supplied by a 180 W 100–240 V a.c. PSU.
Connectivity features include one x 10/100Base-T Ethernet, one x Gigabit Ethernet, two x low-profile PCI slots, PS/2 interface for keyboard and mouse, one x enhanced parallel port, one x RS232 port, five x USB 2.0 ports and a VGA port for video connection.
