SENA Technologies has released a new Bluetooth serial adapter in the form of the Parani-SD1000, designed for wireless M2M (machine-to-machine) communications.
The module supports the latest Bluetooth specification 2.0+EDR (enhanced data rate) which is more powerful and stable compared to previous Bluetooth standards. Thanks to this specification, the module consumes less power while also improving data speeds.
The Parani-SD1000 supports 2 types of rechargeable battery pack options – standard and extended. It supports enhanced serial data speeds up to 921,6 Kbps, and no external drivers or software are required.
