Quatech’s Airborne enterprise class wireless device server module provides WPA2 enterprise class Extensible Authentication Protocols (EAP) with support for authentication certificates. The module provides wireless serial device server or Ethernet-to-wireless bridge functionality and is designed to operate over the extended temperature range from -40°C to +85°C.
The new 802.11b/g module employs a 32-bit ARM9 CPU and supports 802.11i, 802.1x, WPA2-PSK, WPA2-Enterprise with Certificates, WPA-PSK, WPA-LEAP and WEP. The module also includes support for EAP-TLS, EAP-TTLS, PEAP and LEAP with AES-CCMP supported in the hardware. It supports delivery of the certificates to the module and manages all authentication processes without requiring interaction from the host.
