IEI’s VITO-350 series provides digital video surveillance integration systems with a solution for applications in harsh environments. The VITO-350 series is a range of small industrial-grade x86-based systems that support 4–16 camera inputs. Featuring a fanless, anti-vibration and anti-shock design, the devices are suitable for embedded/mobile applications in mission-critical environments, with target applications including airports, banks, warehouses, building security and vehicle surveillance.
The VITO-350 provides a COM port and digital I/O to combine a video capture function, sensor and passive components. To complement the hardware, IEI provides Argus, a PC-based digital video surveillance software system designed for enterprise and industrial applications. Argus offers up to 16-channel display capability and is optimised for processing high-resolution video and audio in realtime. Argus provides features such as realtime intelligent guard, multiple recording schemes, intelligent video analysis and auto-alerts
Thin client technology provides the VITO with access to Microsoft Windows applications and Web-based applications stored remotely on Microsoft Terminal Service servers. An included CD also contains the IEI Remote Management Tool for users to manage their thin-client devices remotely.
