Adlink’s LittleBoard 735 is a highly integrated, rugged single board system which contains all the component subsystems of a PC motherboard plus the equivalent of up to three expansion boards. Based on the Intel Atom N270 low-power processor, the board gives designers an embedded processor based on the EBX form factor and conforming to the EBX V2.0 specifications.
Each LittleBoard 735 incorporates an Intel 945GSE chipset for the graphics and memory hub (northbridge) and the I/O hub (southbridge) controllers. This set includes the 82945GSE, graphics and memory controller hub (GMCH). The other chip in this set is the 82801GBM, I/O controller hub 7 mobile (ICH7-M), which controls some of the I/O functions on the board. One additional chip provides the remainder of the I/O functions: the standard microsystems, SCH3114I-NU, super I/O controller.
Together these chips provide four serial ports, an EPP/ECP parallel port, six USB 2.0 ports, PS/2 keyboard and mouse interfaces, floppy, one ultra/ DMA 33/66/100 IDE controller supporting Compact Flash, independent 10/100BaseT and 10/100/1000BaseT Ethernet interfaces, an audio AC'97 Codec, PCIe Mini Card, GPIO, SMBus, and two SATA ports on the board. The board also supports up to 2 GB of DDR2 RAM in a single 200-pin SODIMM slot, and a graphics media accelerator which provides CRT and LVDS flat panel video interfaces for most popular LCD panels.
