133 MHz FSB CPU board for telecoms

23 May 2001 Computer/Embedded Technology

ICP released ROCKY-3705EV in January 2001. The ROCKY-3705EV is equipped with Socket-370 base which supports Intel Celeron/Pentium III CPU up to 133 MHz FSB. With two 168-pin DIMM sockets, the CPU board is able to provide system memory up to 1 GB.

This cost-effective single-board computer integrates SiS630E chipset embedded audio function meets AC'97 specification, 1600 x 1200 (16 bit colours) video resolution and 10/100 Mbps Ethernet controller.

The IrDA port on the board is accompanied by applications that provide data communication with other devices. Armed with two USB ports, this board enhances the peripheral connecting capacity. Another function, the Watch Dog Timer, provides the monitoring ability to ensure system stability. The ROCKY-3705EV supports ATX power control function.

This CPU board is empowered with the SiS630E chipset to provide high performance with low cost solution for Socket-370 series CPU system. The IrDA and Ethernet capabilities make this SBC a highly suitable solution for telecom applications as well as server applications.
