LIN transceivers

9 June 2010 Telecoms, Datacoms, Wireless, IoT

Microchip’s new MCP2003 and MCP2004 are standalone LIN transceivers which are AEC-Q100 certified and third party LIN/J2602 approved to satisfy the stringent requirements of automotive manufacturers worldwide. They are compliant with the LIN Bus 1.X/2.0/2.1 and SAE J2602 standards, and feature ESD and EMC performance for reliable communication in extremely harsh environments. The transceivers are appropriate for applications in the automotive market, including rain sensors, sunroofs, window lift and many other sensor or actuator-based systems. They are also suitable for many non-automotive applications, including those in the industrial (large lawn mowers, golf carts, metering and door locks); medical (motors and control panels on wheel chairs, and hospital beds); and appliance markets (washing machine and stove control panels and sensors).
