Leadingtouch has developed a range of infrared multitouch screens. Instead of using a mouse or stylus pen, multitouch allows the user to interact with the device by placing two or more fingers directly onto the surface of the screen. The movement of the fingers across the screen creates gestures, which send commands to the device. Clicking, dragging and line drawing can be accomplished with one-finger touch or dragging on the screen surface; two fingers moving together can zoom in/out; with one finger anchored and the other moving around, 3D rotation can be performed.
New multitouch models, compatible with Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7, can support both single-point and multitouch with the relevant driver. Customers can re-develop their own programs with SDK files provided by Leadingtouch. The vandal- and abrasion-resistant screens can withstand severe environments and are suitable for use in point-of-information kiosks, electronic catalogues, gaming, lottery and amusement, industrial control rooms and computer-based training.
